Creating Education Opportunities for Romani Children in Ukraine and Vulnerable Local Romani Children

arna Rom firmly recognizes that education is the key to building a better future, focusing its efforts on supporting Roma children who have fled Ukraine. Since the launch of educational centers on July 1, 2023, the organization has provided essential support in multiple locations, adapting to the needs of the community. Currently, educational activities continue at the RAC in Glodeni, School No. 7 in Bender, RAC in Cărpineni, RAC in Nisporeni, RAC in Bulboaca, and RAC in Popeasca. The centers that have been closed include the RAC in Cojușna, RAC in Costești, RAC in Chișinău (Testimițeanu 6), and RAC in Ungheni.

Access to educational materials and essential resources remains a priority, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to develop academic and social skills. Thus, the organization remains an important pillar of support for the Roma community, actively contributing to a brighter future for refugee children.
