We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our project dedicated to promoting social cohesion in the Cărpineni commune. Our objectives, including strengthening ties between Ukrainian refugees and the Roma community in the locality, have been successfully achieved.

(i) Promoting Social Cohesion: Through excursions and events held over two months, approximately 80 individuals, including women, youth, and children from Ukraine and Cărpineni, experienced a series of activities aimed at strengthening social cohesion.

(ii) Personal and Community Development: A crucial aspect of the project was motivating women to engage in personal and community development processes, promoting the exchange of experiences. Awareness sessions on "Preventing and Responding to Gender-Based Violence" contributed to the reinforcement of this approach.

Unique Experiences: Participants had the opportunity to explore the cultural and historical richness of the region by visiting places such as the "Alexandru Donici" House Museum, the "Safari" Restaurant, and the "Curchi" Monastery. Excursions to the Old Orhei Reserve, as well as participation in cultural and artistic events, brought communities closer together.

Community Impact: This project not only strengthened social ties but also inspired participants to take an active role in their own development and the evolution of their community. We are delighted to have contributed to creating a conducive environment for cultural and experiential exchanges.
