Two days dedicated to health and confidence in Popeasca! 🌿
On June 17–18, Tarna Rom, in partnership with the Youth-Friendly Health Center YK Iunona Stefan Voda, organized an open lesson for refugee children and adolescents from Ukraine, living in Popeasca, Stefan Voda district.
👧🧼 Day 1 – Healthy lifestyle and personal hygiene
Through interactive activities and games, children learned how important it is to take care of their health:
🥦 what balanced nutrition means,
🤸 the importance of daily physical activity,
😴 why regular sleep is essential,
🧼 and how personal hygiene helps us stay healthy and confident — washing hands, caring for the body, hair, and teeth.
All these topics were discussed in a friendly way, with children’s questions, practical examples, and lots of good energy!
🧠 Day 2 – Honest talks with teenagers
Key topics, approached with respect and openness:
❤️ relationships based on trust and respect,
🛡️ protection methods (contraception, prevention of sexually transmitted infections),
🟢🟡🔴 The “Traffic Light Game” – an interactive exercise about consent and personal boundaries,
🗣️ and the central idea: “My body – my choice.”
The atmosphere was warm and sincere, giving teenagers the chance to ask brave questions, reflect, and receive accurate information about their bodies, health, and responsible decisions.
💬 We thank all participants for their involvement and openness, and our partners – for their support and professionalism! 🌈
