On April 7, in the village of Mingir, Hîncești district, Tarna Rom organized an open lesson dedicated to learning about the Roma Holocaust, as part of the educational program carried out in partnership with EVZ. This is the second in a series of seven planned school visits aimed at bringing lesser-known historical realities to younger generations.
Students participated in an interactive activity where they discovered elements of Roma culture, history, and traditions. The program included the screening of the international Roma anthem and the viewing of a short film produced by Tarna Rom in collaboration with EVZ, followed by an open discussion with questions and reflections from the youth.
Through such initiatives, we aim to support memory education, combat prejudice, and promote intercultural dialogue.
We thank the students and teachers from the Mingir Gymnasium for their interest, engagement, and openness!
