Today, on April 8, 2024, AO UTR "Tarna Rom" participated in a significant event: the Roma Women's March as part of Roma Culture Week. Organized by the Roma Women's Platform "ROMNI" in collaboration with UN Women, the march aimed to bring attention to the issues faced by Roma women.

The event was an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of Roma women to society despite discrimination and stereotypes. These women fight for a more inclusive society while preserving their traditions and culture.

The march was a symbol of solidarity and the fight for Roma women's rights. Among the participants were Roma women from Moldova and refugees from Ukraine, highlighting the unity and diversity of the Roma community.

The route of the march was full of significance, starting in front of Moldova Post in the city center, continuing towards the Presidency and the Stefan cel Mare Monument, and ending in front of the Government of the Republic of Moldova. This procession had a strong impact, drawing attention to the causes of Roma women and the need to support them in their fight for equality and fundamental rights.
