In the friendly atmosphere of Europe Cafe @europecafe_moldova, Tarna Rom hosted a press conference, focused on the pressing issue of Roma displaced due to the conflict in Ukraine. We were all united in our efforts to address the challenges, emphasizing the education of refugee Roma children. We highlighted the importance of providing a safe and stimulating learning environment, advocating for equal access to education. Genuine emotions dominated the discussions, especially when teachers involved in the educational project shared the challenges they faced. Additionally, we presented our inclusion strategies in the workforce, collaborating closely with local partners to facilitate the integration of these communities. This conference served as a platform to inform about the Roma affected by the war in Ukraine.
