Today, Tarna Rom organized an open lesson on Roma history, traditions, and culture at the “Mihai Eminescu” Theoretical High School in Hîncești district. The event was held as part of the EVZ educational program, which aims to promote diversity and inclusive education based on mutual respect and critical reflection on the past.
For younger generations, it is essential to learn the full scope of history, including the Roma Holocaust — a painful but necessary part of our collective memory.
Through open dialogues, interactive presentations, and examples from Roma culture, students were encouraged to reflect on the values of tolerance, solidarity, and respect for others’ identities.
