With great sadness, we announce that the renowned writer Spiridon Vangheli has passed away at the age of 92. Vangheli, a pillar of Moldovan literature, has left us an invaluable cultural legacy through his works beloved by generations. In his honor, special lessons were organized at RAC Cojușna for adult refugees from Ukraine, introducing them to the fascinating world of Moldovan literature and sharing the remarkable contributions of Vangheli. The event was graced by the presence of our partners from UNHCR, who supported the activity and contributed to its success. Through these lessons, we aimed to pay tribute to Spiridon Vangheli and share the beauty and depth of his work with those who have been forced to leave their homes due to conflicts. In these difficult times, culture and literature have the power to unite us and offer us hope.
