Yesterday, Tarna Rom returned to the first Roma Task Force meeting of the year, attended by international organizations such as UNHCR-Moldova, UNICEF Moldova, Intersos Moldova, as well as government ministries — the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, the Agency for Interethnic Relations —, NGOs including the "Voice of Roma - CVR" Coalition, and representatives of the Roma community.
The discussions focused on the situation of Roma refugees from Ukraine in the Transnistrian region and the challenges faced in the roma mapping process.
