The participation of the Tarna Rom organization in the UNHCR meeting on January 31, 2024, brought various essential topics to the discussion. Updates from MMPS provided insights into social developments, while close collaboration with the CP SWG aimed at optimizing responses in emergency situations. The presentation of findings regarding adolescents and youth from MSNA: REACH highlighted the specific needs of this vulnerable category. At the same time, the focus on strengthening child protection in schools, through CNPAC, revealed the commitment to a safe school environment. The update on training for Roma mediators emphasized efforts for community integration, actively supported by Tarna Rom. In AOB, changes in UNHCR policy, the extension of temporary protection, and exit criteria for children from the Republic of Moldova were important subjects, reflecting the consistent concerns and contributions of our organization.
